Louisville Ballet

How can short-form and documentary video help traditional art forms like ballet reach new and diverse audiences?

Videography

The Louisville Ballet approached us to capture their performances in ways they hadn’t explored before. We introduced them to the power of short-form video through reels, which opened their eyes to a new way of reaching audiences. This led to our collaboration with the Louisville Ballet and The Voice Tribune to capture 502, a performance set to Jack Harlow’s music. It marked the first time a ballet of this scale incorporated hip-hop, and we were there to document it. Our videography team produced a five-minute documentary, to showcase the innovation and importance of this performance, for both the ballet and Louisville.
